Howyouwilldoit:

Troubling shoot and repair installed systems. Including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing.

Organize and effectively apply technical resources, information, material and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.

Excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.

Ability to program re alarms, security alarms, and access control system panels.

Complete and submit all required tasks related, activity, productivity and other documentation in a timely manner.

On call and after-hours work required on occasion at customer need.

Whatwelookfor:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
  • Tech Savvy
  • Minimum of 2years'experiencewithrealarm, with various vendors (ex. Notifier, Chubbs Edwards, Siemens, Mircom, Simplex)
  • A good working knowledge of computers is necessary: Microsoft office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as well as completing reports.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 25 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difcult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to40feet,workingwithinducts,crawlspaces,aboveceilings,etc.
  • Ability to work exible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Abilitytoadhereto,implement,andalways follow safety guide- lines and procedures.
  • Strongorganizationalskills,positiveattitude,andanability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a validdriver'slicense and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Retain any licenses that are required by National, City and Local codes.
  • Ability to work individually and in a group setting.

Preferred

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams andspecications.
  • NICET cert in Fire Alarm Systems, any level

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18.22-22.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
