Macmillan Special Markets is seeking a Sales Assistant for the Associate Director of Sales (Specialty Wholesale & Literacy) and Senior Director, Special Markets (Education & Wholesale). The Assistant will report to the Associate Director. The Sales Assistant follows orders from start to finish: from initial inquiry to order processing to tracking all orders within these channels, in addition to working closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service and Order Entry teams and will provide sales support for both Directors.

What you'll do:

  • Process and track of all Specialty Wholesale & Literacy and Educational channel orders
  • Interact with Supply Chain, Customer Service & Order Entry teams on a daily basis
  • Interact with accounts daily
  • Provide key sales support for both Directors, including but not limited to preparing meeting presentations, organizing sales materials and title information, and coordinating account outreach such as mailings.

Ideal Experience:

  • Prior experience in publishing, bookstores, or libraries preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

This role will have an annual salary of $47,500.
