Position Overview

Reporting to the Global Intelligence Lead, the VP of Intelligence is pivotal to the Platforms and Intelligence team. This person is central to steering our key clients through the intricacies of digital maturity. This role demands crafting data-driven strategies that align with both client goals and our organizational vision, emphasizing measurement, experimentation, and digital maturity. Embedded within client teams, the VP will navigate through evolving digital encounters, such as cookie deprecation, by leveraging expertise in data strategy and analytics. The VP will also act as a bridge by integrating client needs with innovative, privacy-compliant solutions, and ensuring a seamless journey towards digital excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive data strategies that align with client and IPG Mediabrands' goals.
  • Guide clients through the evolving digital landscape by offering expert advice on measurement methodologies, data integration techniques, and experimentation strategies to drive actionable insights.
  • Develop and manage client roadmaps for digital maturity to identify key milestones and ensure alignment with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Act as the primary consultant for cookie deprecation readiness to advise on alternative tracking technologies, privacy-compliant data collection methods, and on the impact of marketing strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across various internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless execution of intelligence initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate new technologies, platforms, and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge and propose innovative solutions to clients.
  • Mentor a team of intelligence professionals by providing guidance on project management, analytical techniques, and client service excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies in a client-facing role within a digital marketing or media agency environment.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem including knowledge of ad tech, mar tech, and the implications of privacy regulations on data collection and usage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to be capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with leading cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Kinesso does not require candidates to have a college degree.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Experience with major digital analytics and data management platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with experimentation and digital maturity concepts.
  • Background in consulting or strategic advisory roles within the digital marketing space.

The salary range for this position is posted below.
