Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an Industrial Group Health and Safety Manager to join them. You will report to the Industrial Group Environmental Health and Safety Director. Our preferred candidate will have a hybrid work schedule at our East Aurora, NY location. However, we're open to candidates who reside near our other US Moog locations for a hybrid structure as well, with preference for those located on the East Coast. Remote work may also be considered for highly qualified candidates.

To be considered for the Industrial Group Health and Safety Manager role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in health & safety, environmental, engineering, physical sciences, or relevant area.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in the field of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) supporting similar Health and Safety functions for multiple sites, with international location support highly preferred.
  • EHS audit experience
  • Supporting the site with Regulatory Agencies.
  • Experience with EHS management systems, Incident Management and analysis, KPI tracking, etc.

As an Industrial Group Health and Safety Manager, you will:

  • Work with Site EHS personal to evaluate site performance, skill needs and opportunities for improvement. Provide suggestions to Operating Group EHS Director and site leadership for consideration.
  • Partner with site EHS Staff to customize resources for site implementation phases. This includes technical reviews of procedures, training and help build implementation plans with associated communication strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise on regulatory requirements when sites are making changes to equipment, layout, and programs.
  • Provide supporting technical information appropriate to their knowledge level for site communications to government agency notices and internal and third-party audits.
  • Participate in Corporate EHS Audits and serve as a technical resource on significant incident investigations within the operating group.
  • Assist Operating Groups EHS Director to identify and implement opportunities that benefit multiple sites across the operating group.
  • Lead Operating Group-wide implementation efforts on new Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Support business travel, up to 40% domestically and internationally.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $111,009.60 - $135,000 per year.

Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
