The hospital is renowned for The Trauma Center, staffed to treat any traumatic injury or illness, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center, with more than 40 years of work in burn care. Major Trauma, Burn and Stroke Center in the Bronx looking for a full time Physical Therapist to join our team.

Perform physical therapy clinical tasks including initial evaluation, treatment, re-evaluation and discharge summaries.
• 24 bed acute Inpatient Rehab Unit, Bedside therapy and outpatient therapy services.
• Keep patient records and participate in Department statistical surveys, performance improvement projects, in-services and patient rounds.
• Adhere to all standards and/or regulations of the Joint Commission, NYDOH and other appropriate regulatory bodies.
• Keep current with and follow all regulations relating but not limited to, HIPAA, Medicare, NYS Medicaid, medical recordkeeping and cliniolegal issues.

• NYS licensed Physical Therapist
• Experience preferred but not required
• Hospital or ortho/sports experience an advantage
