Senior Manager, R&D - Commercialization at a glance...

The Senior Manager, R&D - Commercialization is responsible for delivering projects within a portfolio of brands to which they are assigned as well as developing direct/indirect reports within the PMO organization. This role will collaborate with cross functional parties at all levels of the organization, including relevant brand stewards in Marketing, R&D, Finance, Operations as well as other technical subject matter experts to complete projects that support our Growth, Productivity and Maintenance goals. Additionally, it will play a key role in leading as well as supporting strategic governance forums such as Stage Gate and Portfolio Management Review (PMR) by influencing process optimization and meeting effectiveness through stakeholder management. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for helping to executive strategic PMO initiatives across the NA Zone as needs arise.

What's on the menu?
  • Lead commercialization efforts for projects across the BU, coordinating with various team members to implement Growth, Productivity and Supply Continuity initiatives while supporting the continuous improvement of the commercialization process through collaboration
  • Ensure effective team engagement which can include establishing and managing team meetings, developing project timelines and holding partners accountable to activities, as well as facilitate the creation and communication of mitigation/contingency plans
  • Develop and coach members on the PMO organization, either directly or indirectly, to mature into effective Project Managers driving project delivery for KHC
  • Run cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects to meet the goals and priorities
  • Lead or support various BU and Platform governance forums (e.g. Stage gate or PMR) providing status updates related to projects, sufficiency to targets or resourcing while also advising on meeting effectiveness and implementing potential solutions
  • Facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals, tasks, and resource (people and cost) requirements
  • Resolve or assist in the resolution of unique challenges within and between projects or functional groups
  • Develop methods to supervise and report project progress and provide corrective action as needed
  • Initiate the finished good Master Data setup and communicate completed information to all collaborators so all information systems are accurately set up for success

  • 5+ years experience in a consumer-first environment with a minimum of 3 years directly related to Project Management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability mentoring or coaching individuals, providing ongoing support and guidance to facilitate their professional development
  • Possess a strong understanding of project management principles, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management and timeline management to ensure successful project delivery
  • Exhibits a results-driven mentality with a focus on achieving goals and objectives through proactive problem-solving, critical thinking and effective decision-making
  • Maintains a growth mindset that embraces challenges, values feedback and prioritizes continuous learning and improvement
  • Proven ability to learn quickly in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, effectively managing uncertainty and adapting to changing priorities while being solution oriented
  • Extensive experience in building, growing, and strengthening relationships including but limited to peers, vendors and cross-functional teams through effective communication, collaboration and conflict resolution to drive business success
  • Exceptional communication - written and presentation
