Job Description

 Vice President, Credit Risk Officer - (employer: Natixis North America LLC; job location: New York, NY) - Perform detailed credit analysis and risk assessments of various financing proposals including CLO warehouse/lending facilities, ABS warehouse/lending facilities, and capital call facilities. Conduct due diligence, and then identify and concisely describe potential credit risks and positive attributes of financing proposals in order to support the business and avoid undue risks and credit loss. Analyze draft credit agreements and proposed credit terms, including performing and reviewing stress tests based on the proposed collateral and structures. Analyze the collateral in conjunction with the historical performance, idiosyncratic credit risks and regulatory rules. Prepare written credit risk opinions and present to senior management and credit committees. Monitor portfolio performance and ensure covenant compliance, report warning trends and any credit risk deterioration in the portfolio. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Math, Business Administration, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or as a Credit Risk Professional OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Math, Business Administration, or a related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or as a Credit Risk Professional. All required experience must have included experience with: analyzing the credit risk of Structured Finance collateral, validating and stress-testing cash flow models, and applying Rating Agency methodologies; reviewing legal documentations for new transactions, identifying structural risks and mitigants, and recommending optimized deal terms in line with the bank’s risk appetite; interpreting legal analysis related to matters such as enforceability, perfection, and assignability in Structured Finance transactions; formulating credit recommendations and determining internal ratings and presenting findings to senior management; reviewing trustee reports, periodic financial statements, and third-party audits to assess counterparties’ financial conditions and operational capabilities; conducting due diligence meetings with sponsors and assessing their capabilities to manage or service the transaction; performing research on Structured Finance capital markets and regulatory developments; and monitoring credit migration of collateral and covenant compliance, reporting performance trends, and performing quantitative portfolio analysis. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT). Salary: $169,707 - $190,000/year.
