Position Summary

NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Career Coaching on the Full-Time MBA Careers team. The Associate Director will assist with the development and implementation of career coaching initiatives for full-time MBA students, including 2-year MBA program and Focused (1-year) MBA programs in technology and fashion/luxury. The Associate Director will provide individual and group coaching to MBA students; evaluate career goals, interests, and values, and identify services to enhance students' career objectives. The selected candidate will develop career coaching initiatives including conceptualizing and planning programs and workshops on various topics (e.g., proactive job searches, interviewing techniques, career assessment, resume writing, mock interviews, and salary negotiations) and develop career-related programs with Stern's student clubs and organizations and alumni. The Associate Director will collaborate with Stern recruiters and career coaches to identify alumni in various industries and to identify and develop potential employment opportunities for current MBA students.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a bachelor's degree (MBA or Master's degree preferred) and a minimum of 5 years in human resources, career coaching, program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to develop and conduct career seminars and workshops along with demonstrated coaching skills is required. Excellent presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills are also essential.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000 to USD $100,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
