Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Agile Program Manager (Robotic Process Automation, Senior Manager) to work with a Federal client. The Agile Program Manager will provide a broad range of technology and financial management knowledge and experience as part of a team delivering automation and financial management support.

This position may be eligible for some remote work depending on contract/client and hiring manager approval.

Responsibilities

Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and execution of all activities, review the work of subordinates, including subcontractors, and ensure that the schedule, performance parameters, and reporting responsibilities are met. The Program Manager shall be the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and primary interface with the client Program Manager.

Applies leadership of financial management concepts, processes, practices and procedures on technical assignments. Provides oversight of teams using the systems that support financial management services to perform complex operations.

Oversees technical delivery services such as:

  • Develop new capabilities by working with client business units, analyzing current financial business processes, assessing what modernization efforts will yield most efficiencies, re-engineering the financial business processes that currently run "on-paper" and on legacy technologies, and moving them to appropriate technical solutions.
  • Provide operational support for the systems and automated processes that the government acquired to date, maximize usage of the tools procured by the government, provide training for the user community on currently running and newly developed applications, and provide proper program management and program support.
  • Develop new financial tools and targeted business applications, and continue automation of financial business processes on approved technology platforms.
  • Modernize processes that reside on legacy technology.
  • Conduct Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support of production applications, systems, tools, and automated processes.
  • Document financial processes by working with the government representatives and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will be financial audit compliant
  • Implement process and policy improvements
  • Manage changes to systems and practices across the team
  • Conduct performance measurement and tracking against metrics
  • Provide program management support for planning, execution, and completion of all project activities in accordance with program and project management best practices.

An employee in this position oversees team members and works with senior client leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • Five years of overall program management experience managing programs similar in effort and size obtained within the last ten years, including managing Agile teams
  • Possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Agile and Kanban development, supported by active industry certifications in Agile and recent work experience.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems through teamwork and consultation
  • Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies
  • Adept at change management
  • Excellent leadership and personnel management skills
  • Well versed in performance measurement and tracking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in federal financial management
  • Skilled in using systems that support federal financial management services
  • Familiarity with technical tools including Jira, GitHub, UIPath, ServiceNow, Salesforce, DataBricks, and Tableau
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools, including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Office 365.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) in one of the following disciplines: Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or related fields

Bachelor's Degree in any field is acceptable if applicant has fifteen or more years of experience in leading and managing Government Financial Management projects similar in effort and size obtained within the last ten years, including managing Agile teams.

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
