Your Role

BeaconMedaes is seeking a dynamic and innovative professional to join our team as Laboratory Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the lab equipment product line in a sustainable, profitable way by creating customer value in-line with the strategy of the Business Development Manager. The product line will include containerized source equipment, motor-driven source equipment, high-purity pipeline equipment, and cryogenic systems. Focus will be on the high-purity pipeline product line. You will contribute to overall brand strategy and identify solutions. This role reports to the Business Development Manager (Laboratory) and has a dotted line relationship to the Marketing Manager.

You will have the following strategic/tactical responsibilities:

  • Create a standardized line of products from the existing made-to-order product portfolio.
    • Develop and maintain support documentation, working with Marketing and Engineering teams.
    • Implement the product line into the Global Quote System (GQS)
  • Develop and launch new products which are harmonized with similar medical products whenever possible.
    • Modular solutions
  • Align operations with BeaconMedaes standards for products produced in BeaconMedaes product companies.
  • Continue collaborative processes with our 3rd party manufacturers.
  • Identify parts for aftermarket and organize the setup of standardized kits.
  • Provide training to the technical support team (ie. "train the trainer") to better support transfer of knowledge.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of quality assurance procedures, including ISO qualification requirements and align laboratory pipeline product manufacturing procedures with proven quality assurance standards.


You will have the following operational responsibilities:

  • Ensure the U.S. Customer Center develops the right channels to market and provide support with product training.
  • Actively engage with sales and manufacturers' representatives in key sales visits to establish rapport and maintain regular contact with our existing and new customers.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager working to define sales arguments and the marketing message for the laboratory product line.
  • Working with Marketing Manager and Communications team, obtain, develop or otherwise prepare, deliver, and present sales materials, exhibits, lunch-n-learn, training and promotional programs.
  • Perform analyses of the competitor's product portfolio and continuously look for opportunities to extend the BeaconMedaes offering.
  • Attend and participate in selected tradeshows and other high profile laboratory related events.
  • Actively contribute to PCMs, taking a leading role in PSMs and safeguard that the marketing related deliverables are delivered.

Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiatives. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company's core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees relevant to this mission.

Personal Development - Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations.

Reporting - Prepare reports as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.


To succeed, you will need

Experience

  • 5+ years of product design/management of piped engineered systems.
  • Application experience in the area of high-purity gas systems and/or cryogenic piped systems is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP ERP software and ISO 9001 qualification is preferred.

Education
Four year degree in engineering, business, marketing or equivalent

Skills

  • Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/ written communication skills
  • Must have proven business analysis skills
  • Must have an innovative mindset and strong drive to create customer value
  • A keen interest in how technology can create customer value

Travel

Travel may be required at times to visit key customers as well as attend tradeshows or exhibitions.

Occasional travel will be required to Rock Hill, South Carolina facility.
