We are looking for talented individuals to join our ReadyNow Home Office Development Program! If you love a fast-paced, ever-changing, challenging and competitive environment, and have a desire to gain experience throughout home office, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

HOW IT WORKS

In this 18-month development program, you will be joining a team of new-to-pharmaceutical-industry professionals and will have the opportunity to experience working within various departments within home office. Upon completion of onboarding and training, you will be assigned to various departments on rotation assignments of varying lengths. After completion of each rotation, your new rotation assignment will be determined based on business needs.

WHAT'S YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL ALONG THE WAY

Your goal is to earn a permanent position as a ReadyNow Home Office Personnel. You will demonstrate success in this role through collaboration with your Leadership Team and your larger Otsuka headquarters team, overall performance, and exemplifying the established behaviors of an Otsuka Home Office employee. You will be asked to manage projects, execute on deliverables, and demonstrate your overall business impact through your ability to collaborate, provide business insights, and continual development of specific department and company knowledge.

YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Compliance Operations role will report to the Compliance Operations Manager.* Support the development and coordination of U.S. E&C presentations and large-scale meetings, including quarterly slide presentations to OAPI/OPDC Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and Executive Leadership Team. Communicate deadline reminders, circulate comments from senior leadership for additional content/edits and track completion of multiple slide deck sections to ensure they are completed on time for circulation as pre-reads.
  • Support in the writing of the U.S. E&C Annual Report to the OAPI/OPDC Board of Directors by collaborating with internal members of U.S. E&C, communicating important deadline reminders and requests for additional content, and reviewing the report to make any necessary edits.
  • Support the research, organization and planning of U.S. E&C in-office and offsite "all-hands" meetings, including: U.S. E&C/Legal Affairs Meetings, team offsites, and other team-building events.
  • Help support the Conflict of Interest process, including managing communications with requestors for additional information or to provide decision notifications and updating process documentation, including tracking the disposition of current and past requests, and generating process metrics, visualizations and reports.
  • Help support field and non-field Compliance remediation activities, including scheduling meetings, following up to confirm closure of remediation activities and maintaining remediation documentation, and generating process metrics, visualizations and reports.
  • Help support business process improvement projects, including scheduling meetings, helping map processes and identified gaps/deviations, documenting, tracking and following up on planned remediation activities, and generating business process improvement metrics, visualizations and reports.
  • Work with GRC personnel to improve documentation of existing processes and work documents, including storage, access and retention of key information (meeting minutes, U.S. E&C annual report, audit reports, project work plans, software source documentation, business process mapping and process descriptions, guidance documents, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business management. High level of applications.
  • Ability managing, and consolidating slide decks.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, manage interaction with all levels of internal staff and outside contacts.
  • Ability to manage changing workloads and competing priorities; some project management experience required.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and motivated; ability to think strategically.
