Who You Are:

We are seeking a Senior CX Designer to help visualize the future of our platform services business. This position-with the rest of the group-is focused on the pitching side of the business: working to solidify strategy + experience design. You will play a key role in shaping transformational visions and digital concepts that strategically accelerate our clients' business. Working across physical and digital practices, this role gives visual form to market-leading points of view around next-generation engagement. The ideal candidate is a technology-optimist and designer who believes in exploring new visual languages and storytelling methods for an experience-led world.

What You'll Do:

-Work in an interdisciplinary team: Collaborate with Design, Technology and Strategy Leads who are passionate about the evolution of design, future of digital experiences and the potential of emerging technologies.

-Shape compelling narratives and contribute to design direction: Explore and evaluate a variety of design methods to tell stories using different frameworks, paradigms, and mediums. Execute final pitch narratives and associated materials.

-Show - don't tell prototype, prototype, prototype, in all forms, using non-traditional methods - be experimental and iterative.

-Create a studio identity: Experiment, evaluate, and help establish ownable studio branding for use with both external clients and as part of internal Cognizant evangelism.

-Help our clients envision the use of digital to transform their businesses: Dream big, demonstrate what's possible, get them-and us-excited about the possibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

-Proficiency in a wide range of design platforms across static and motion graphics

-Prior experience working in interdisciplinary teams.

-Bonus: Experience working with 3D environments (Unity/Unreal)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-A tool-agnostic interest in pushing design to communicate the opportunities of the near-future

-The aptitude and interest to embrace complex business challenges and translate them into elegant creative solutions, moving beyond product design or ecosystems and into designing intelligently orchestrated experiences.

-A love for the art of the pitch and a desire to win through shaping a compelling story that balances the creative vision with the business objectives.

-An unconstrained thinker with a background in Experience Design

-A self-starter, eager to chase down compelling visions and inspiring storylines.

-An eye for crafting new experience paradigms and creating experience frameworks for emerging technologies.

-Experience with both commercial and delivery roles across the digital landscape with an emphasis on concepting / ideation and vision work.
