Datadog is looking for an experienced Director of Marketing Operations to lead a high performing and rapidly scaling team of 15+. As Director of Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading all operational functions within the marketing organization. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in marketing operations, a passion for technology, and a commitment to excellence - surpassing industry standards - in running a best-in-class marketing operations organization. This highly visible role will report into the VP of Digital Operations & Field Marketing.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor and scale a high-performing marketing operations team of 15+.
  • Own all marketing operations functions including campaign operations, technical operations, project management, and lead routing/lead quality management.
  • Develop best in class strategies to increase efficiencies, maximize resources, and deploy over 1,000+ campaigns annually.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of the marketing tech stack (marketing automation, analytics tools, ABM orchestration, etc.)
  • Help the team build strong operational discipline - from leveraging project management resources, to strong planning cadences, to building templatized playbooks.
  • Oversee the tracking, attribution, and reporting on all marketing activities to provide insights on the most effective channels and help inform decisions on future investments.
  • Own tracking and reporting of the marketing budget.
  • Work cross functionally to drive alignment amongst marketing, sales, and supporting go-to-market teams.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree a plus)
  • 12 years of marketing operations experience, with 3-5 years leading high-performing teams
  • Deep experience with Marketo.
  • Deep experience with attribution and analytics tools.
  • Deep experience with building scalable and sustainable marketing operations processes and programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a complex organization and generate buy-in for ideas and plans

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Generous and competitive benefits package
