We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team, where you will play a crucial role in our month-end close activities and financial planning processes. Your work will involve detailed actual vs. plan variance analysis, preparing and communicating financial reports and insights for business partners and senior management, and crafting overhead cost budgets and forecasts.

What you'll do:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Take the lead in creating, maintaining, and improving overhead cost budgets and forecasts. Engage actively in budget meetings and working closely with business partners to gather relevant financial data and identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Monthly Close Process Management: Oversee the monthly close process for assigned cost centers, including detailed variance analysis and the preparation of accrual journal entries. Follow up on budget deviations. Provide accurate and insightful monthly commentary and reporting, turning complex data into actionable insights.
  • Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and deliver financial reports and analyses for both internal and external stakeholders promptly. Engage with these stakeholders to delve deeper into the financials, offering comprehensive support and clarifications, thereby enhancing the decision-making process by providing in-depth financial insight.
  • Process Improvement and Forecasting: Continuously maintain and enhance complex forecast models and seek opportunities to automate finance processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial projections.
  • Project Support and Ad-Hoc Analysis: Offer support for finance-related projects. Deliver ad-hoc analysis and insights as required, to assist with strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

What you'll bring:

  • Advanced Quantitative Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, and experience with excel- based, multidimensional query-driven reporting systems and financial modelling.
  • Financial Analysis Expertise: Demonstrated ability in employing financial analysis techniques for creating precise forecasts and resolving discrepancies between actual results and plans by identifying the key drivers.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to interpret financial data, providing deep insights while being able to summarize complex findings in a concise overview succinctly as needed.
  • Adaptability and Prioritization: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with a keen focus on problem-solving and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven record of effective collaboration and communication across different teams, functions, and with global entities.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong critical and analytical thinking abilities; an independent problem-solver who can manage detailed analysis and present findings coherently.

Ideal Experience/Experience:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is required.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. A Master's Degree or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.

This role will have an annual salary of $87,000 - $100,000.
