The Supervising Pharmacist at ConnectRX will be responsible for the oversight and management of the daily pharmacy operations, ensuring organizational policies and procedures are established, maintained and followed. They will provide oversight for all staff activities of the registered establishment in conformance with all applicable New York State and Federal laws and regulations. They will be directly accountable for the practice of pharmacy. The Supervising Pharmacist must maintain awareness of all applicable laws and regulations, to ensure proper education and compliance of their team. The Supervising Pharmacist will also ensure all customers are assisted with their health care needs, by the entire staff, which includes assisting the team with dispensing prescriptions, selecting the appropriate Over-the-Counter (OTC) product and providing excellent customer service as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the success of the Pharmacy and the development of the Pharmacy Team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Pharmacy Degree from accredited pharmacy school required.
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New York is required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacist or performing relevant clinical tasks in a pharmacy setting required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of management experience in a pharmacy/healthcare setting required. Additional relevant advanced degree (i.e. MBA) may be substituted for experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply laws, principles and best practices of general pharmacy supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train and supervise staff.
  • Demonstrate ability to assign, evaluate and prioritize the workflow of team members.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and implement procedures and methods of operations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to collect and fully analyze various data, draw appropriate conclusions and form proper recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform mathematical computations.
  • Demonstrate ability to compound medications.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with both internal staff and external business partners at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization and member level.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workflow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work varying schedules between the hours of 8am to 7pm. Schedule may include Saturdays.
  • Position requires long periods of standing and significant walking.
