Job Summary:

The School of Management is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Marketing. This position will involve teaching classes during the day and evening times. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching all levels of marketing classes from introduction through graduate level classes.

The School of Management is seeking faculty members who, in addition to teaching their classes, participate in the life of the School and its activities. This will include attending faculty and School events on campus, and participating in the community as a representative of Marist College and the School of Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field

Essential Functions:

• Teach undergraduate courses;
• Contribute to curriculum development and course design;
• Advise and mentor students, and support their academic and career development;
• Prepare teaching outlines detailing the course of study, assign lessons, correct homework and papers, prepare and administer tests to evaluate the progress of students;
• Engage in professional scholarly activity including presenting research at conferences and publishing in scholarly venues;
• Participate in departmental and college services, such as committee work, faculty meetings, and student recruitment events;
• Engage in professional development to maintain current knowledge in the field.
• There is no substantial travel, but position may travel to a conference to present work

(Marist will allow remote work. However, in-person office hours three days a week are required.)
