Join the Principal Finance group in Macquarie Capital and be a part of the Global Operations team responsible for the middle office management of our principal investing portfolio, from pre-acquisition to divestment.

The Principal Finance team, in Macquarie Capital, operates globally, providing flexible primary financing solutions and engaging in secondary market investing, across the capital structure, in both the corporate and real estate sectors. The team has extensive experience across a variety of industry groups including real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, media, entertainment and technology, leisure, and healthcare.

What role will you play?

As a member of the back office team, you will be responsible for the operational management, from pre-settlement to maturity, of a varied investment portfolio of debt transactions across a wide range of industries in both the corporate and real estate sectors. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, including front office, risk, finance and legal teams, you'll coordinate the systems setup, settlement and ongoing management for transactions whilst ensuring that our risk management framework, policies and procedures are met.

Salary range for this position: $75,000 - $125,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer:

  • 2-5 years of experience within financial or professional services in a similar or related role to include the use of LoanIQ (preferred) or an equivalent corporate loan management system
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or business
  • Ability to navigate LSTA loan documentation (or similar) for deal booking
  • Background in the settling of secondary loan trades via Clearpar
  • Your previous experience in loan administration will have equipped you with sound organizational and time management skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines and follow tasks through to completion.
