A Substitute Teacher is responsible for carrying out the instruction and maintaining the management of the classroom in the absence of a teacher, while following teacher's lesson plans, and the policies and procedures of the classroom, school, and district.

Rate of pay for position:

Certified: (Full day) $120.00 (Half day) $60.00 (South schools) (Full day) $125.00 (Half day) $62.50 (North schools)

Non-Certified: (Full day) $100.00 (Half day) $50.00 (South schools) (Full day) $105.00 (Half day) $52.50 (North schools)

Plus an additional, $15.00 per full day for working on Monday and/or Friday
