Job Description
Responsibilities

  • In charge of the preparation of capital calls, contractual payments, vendor commitment maintenance, and loan draws for assigned projects
  • Assist in project reforecast, track & investigate costs variances to ensure adherence to budget
  • Work with project managers on monthly billings to ensure all costs are captured and allocated appropriately
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Perform month end close process and preparation of Financials
  • Assist with audits and the preparation of audit and tax workpaper
  • Maintain internal controls to ensure safeguarding of company assets and adherence to company standards
  • Other tasks to be assigned

Compensation

  • $80,000 - $95,000 / year
  • Annual performance based bonus


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related fields, CPA candidate preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, real estate development or construction experience a plus
  • Highly intelligent with analytical skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent Excel skills, JD Edward experience desired
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and an effective team player
